ICAR-DPR celebrated International Day of Yoga-2024
The Directorate celebrated the 10th International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2024 with the theme “Yoga for Self and Society.” The staff members actively participated in a yoga session conducted by Dr. A. Debnath, MBBS, Authorized Medical Attendant of the ICAR-DPR Clinic. He explained to the participants the various benefits of yoga for both the body and mind. He taught asanas and pranayamas, which the participants practiced. The Director, Dr. R.N. Chatterjee, participated in the yoga session and encouraged the staff to practice yoga for a healthier life. Dr. K.S. Rajaravindra, Senior Scientist, and Shri G. Rajeswar Goud, Technical Officer, coordinated the programme.
