• Regional Station, Bhubaneswar Organized Awareness Programme at KVK, Sakhigopal

    An awareness-cum-distribution programme of veterinary medicines and feed supplements under the Network Project on Animal Genetic Resources (AnGR) was conducted at KVK, Sakhigopal, Puri district of Odisha on 17 March 2026 by Regional Station, DPR, Bhubaneswar. A total of 58 farmers (17 women and 41 men) participated in the programme. Dr. S. K. Bhanja, Head, Regional Station, along with Dr. B. K. Swain and Dr. Dhirendra Kumar, Principal Scientists, briefed the farmers on animal genetic resources, their conservation and improvement programmes, as well as feeding, feed management, and health care practices. The programme was coordinated by Dr. A. P. Nayak, Scientist, KVK, Sakhigopal, Puri. Kits containing veterinary medicines and feed supplements were distributed to the participating farmers during the programme.
