National Science Day was celebrated with great fervour at ICAR-Directorate of Poultry Research, Hyderabad on 28th February 2025. The event commenced with the online address by Dr. Himanshu Pathak, Secretary, DARE and DG, ICAR. Thereafter, Dr. S.S. Paul, Head, Poultry Nutrition, Health and Physiology, ICAR-DPR, presented glimpses on the life and achievements of Dr. C.V. Raman, the renowned Nobel laureate. Dr. R.N. Chatterjee, Director, highlighted the significant contributions of Indian scientists across different fields and shed light on the recent achievements and innovations in Indian science. He further emphasized on bringing inclusivity and promoting resilience through scientific endeavors and laid stress on the importance of sharing scientific knowledge for the benefit of global masses. The meeting was attended by the staff and students of the institute.
