The Annual Review Meeting of the AICRP on Poultry Breeding for the year 2024–25 was organized by ICAR-DPR at the ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region, Umiam, Meghalaya, during 27–28 January 2026. Dr. Raghavendra Bhatta, DDG (AS), ICAR, evaluated the performance of the participating centres and suggested measures for further improvement. The Principal Investigators presented the progress of their respective centres, which was critically reviewed by the DDG (AS) and experts. Constructive suggestions were provided to strengthen research outcomes and enhance centre performance. The meeting was graced by Dr. G.K. Gaur, ADG (AP&B), ICAR; Dr. R.N. Chatterjee, Director, ICAR-DPR, Hyderabad; Dr. S. Hazarika, Director, ICAR RC NEH, Umiam; Dr. U. Rajkumar, Head and In-charge, AICRP on Poultry Breeding; and Dr. H.K. Narula, Pr. Scientist, AS Division, ICAR. Centre In-charges from 24 AICRP on Poultry Breeding centres representing different states across the country actively participated in the review meeting.
