The ICAR-Directorate of Poultry Research, Hyderabad was recognized as themHyderabad Hub of ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Deemed University,Izatnagar for initiation of the full pledged programs on post-graduation education and research (MVSc and PhD) in the discipline of Poultry Science.
The academic activities of these programs were started on 31 st January 2024 for the academic year 2023-24 through the admission of five MVSc students and three PhD students in the discipline of Poultry Science.
The institute is a part of ICAR-CRIDA, Hyderabad Hub of ICAR-IARI Mega University for UG program.
Besides, this institute has memorandums of understanding with the different state veterinary universities for facilitating students’ training/postgraduate research work. Under this program, several PG and PhD students have completed their thesis works at this institute and a few students are working in this institute for their post-graduation research programs.
