The Directorate is having a small and well equipped resource full collection of books in its library, which is very much useful to the readers like scientific, technical, administrative staff of the institute, at present more than nine hundred reference books are available. Besides this the other users from veterinary university and poultry industry people for their resource material available at institute library. From the academic year (2024-25) PG and Ph.D students of this institute under IVRI Hub at DPR,Hyderabad are utilizing institute library facilities largely.
Consortium For e-Resources in Agriculture Link
The library has been subscribing two foreign journals and several Indian journals/magazines and having approximately about nine hundred reference books on different aspects of poultry science and livestock as well other general subject books. Institute staff and students also utilizing of Cera consortia services for latest references. The library also subscribes daily newspapers in Hindi, Telugu and English for our regular readers. We also digitalized all our publications (such as annual reports, newsletters, un-priced books). The facilities of this library are being utilizing by the institute scientist, scholars and students and faculty members of veterinary college, Hyderabad as well from other parts of India.
